Why this exists

You didn't start your business to spend nights answering the same emails.

Small firms and operators around the Lake are drowning in repetitive work. AI can fix it, but doing it yourself is a time sink and a risk. We close that gap with done-for-you systems we build and run for you.

Doing it yourself

The DIY trap

  • Hours lost piecing together tools that don't talk to each other
  • Pasting client or guest data into apps that may train on it
  • No policy, no supervision, no record of how AI is used
  • It works until it breaks, and then it's your problem at 11pm
  • You become the IT department on top of your real job
Working with us

Done for you, run for you

  • One partner who builds it, integrates it, and maintains it
  • Configured for zero data retention and documented for compliance
  • Your staff trained, with a clear "when not to use AI" playbook
  • We monitor and improve it every month so it keeps working
  • You go back to the work only you can do
What we do

Done-for-you AI automation, by industry.

Outcomes, not software. Every system is built around your tools, your templates, and your way of doing things, then we run it for you.

The model

Three words: build it, run it, keep it compliant.

No strategy decks you can't act on. We start small, build the real thing, and stay on to run and improve it as managed services.

The background

A lawyer's eye, a builder's hands, and a local's trust.

Most AI help comes from one of two places: a generalist agency that doesn't understand your work, or a remote freelancer who's never set foot at the Lake. I'm neither.

I'm a J.D. from UMKC who has written over 3,000 legal articles for LegalMatch, one of the country's largest legal platforms, using AI-assisted systems I built and refined myself. I train and evaluate AI models, so I understand how these systems actually behave under the hood, not just how to type a prompt. I built and automated Rural News Wire, a local-news platform that runs on a live AI pipeline, and I've authored 15+ published books, many in legal and reference.

That combination is the whole point. For a law firm, it means AI configured to your ethical obligations and documented to prove it. For any Lake business, it means a local partner who's accountable, who has actually built and shipped AI at scale, and who sticks around to run it.

For law firms

AI that holds up under your ethical obligations.

Using AI in a practice isn't just a tech decision, it's an ethics decision. Because your build comes from a J.D., compliance is engineered in from day one, documented to ABA Formal Opinion 512 and your state's confidentiality rules, not bolted on after something goes wrong.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Is my data safe with an AI system?
Yes. Every system we build is configured for zero data retention where it's available, meaning your inputs aren't retained or used to train any AI model. For law firms, this is documented in writing and built to your confidentiality obligations.
Do I need to be technical to use this?
No, and that's the entire point. We build the system, integrate it with the tools you already use, train your staff, and then run and maintain it for you. You use it. We handle the technology.
Is using AI in a law firm even ethical?
It can be, when it's set up correctly. Our founder holds a Juris Doctor, so your AI is configured and documented to your state's Rules of Professional Conduct and ABA Formal Opinion 512, including confidentiality, supervision, and a clear policy for when not to use AI.
What does it cost?
Engagements start with a one-time build fee and an optional monthly fee to run and improve the system. Founding-client pricing currently starts at $2,500 for a compliant setup. Exact pricing is scoped to your needs in a free assessment, with no hourly invoices and no surprises.
How long until it's working?
Most builds go from kickoff to go-live in about four weeks, depending on scope and how many tools we're integrating with.
Do I have to be at the Lake of the Ozarks?
Our focus is the Lake and the surrounding Missouri communities, where we work in person. Remote engagements are considered case by case.
